Winter has finally arrived in Western New York, along with 2012.

I wanted to share some wonderful news - I was honored as Hunt Real Estate's #5 Agent in the Company for 2011!!

The real estate market and the economy in general are still in flux - but predictions for 2012 are positive - and that's encouraging news. Check out this article Housing to gradually improve in 2012.

I don't believe it is strictly a "buyers' market" as the media would have you think.  Homes that are in very good condition and priced accurately are selling in a timely fashion.  Therefore, there are opportunities for Sellers in this market.

And for buyers, the interest rates are still at historic lows - approximately 4%!!!!  With attractive home prices and unbelievable interest rates - I see this as the best time to buy since 1997.
